Padmini and Vandana
Minimize is a female-led venture founded by close friends Padmini and Vandana, who united over their shared commitment to sustainability. Their vision revolves around embracing a low-waste lifestyle through simple, impactful changes. Minimize empowers individuals to make eco-conscious choices. Padmini and Vandana exemplify the power of friendship and shared values in driving positive environmental change.
Nidhi
Nidhi is based in Jaipur, the heart of the textile Industry, in India. She is a part of the NGO Jagriti that provides free sewing skills to women belonging to the underprivileged communities of Jaipur. Nidhi is instrumental in procuring rescued and unbleached fabric, connecting with these women and getting them to create the range of products Minimize carries.
Shabnam & Nazma
Shabnam and Nazma, have transformed their lives using the skills Jagriti has provided them. Armed with basic equipment, they work diligently from their homes in Kacchi Basti, small temporary settlements. When demand surpasses their capacity, they unite and motivate fellow residents to join forces, ensuring orders are fulfilled and fostering a spirit of community empowerment.
Preety
Preety runs a conscious clothing business based out of the historical city of Ajmer and takes pride in getting everything made by hand and with zero wastage.
Creating bowl covers with cotton fabric remnants for Minimize, allows Preety to be a part of yet another sustainable albeit social business.
Brahma Didi
Brahma Didi meticulously handcrafts cotton reversible bowl covers, employing traditional sewing techniques. Each cover is a unique, flawless creation, with every layer meticulously cut and sewn to perfection, reflecting her artisanal dedication.
